Last year Caleb played the grand piano in the lobby of the Maceys Grocery store for their Holiday Open House and during Christmas time. People watched in awe as what they thought was a 3 year old playing the piano (little did they know he was just a short 5 year old at the time).
He got some pretty good tips though. One day he made out with over $20 in cash from his tip jar. I think this is how he began the idea of wanting to be a professional piano player. It was like, "I can play for MONEY!?"
Anyway, he is excited to play again this year. They have their Open House in November usually, so today he began making a list of all the songs he is going to play.

oh caleb that was so good! you should ask Aunt Harvest to show you some finger moves cause she can play that song really well!
Wow Caleb, now that you've been practicing it for a couple weeks, your Carol of the Bells sounds even better than here on your blog....what's your next song gonna be?
Hi Caleb,
I can't open up the songs when I'm using my work computer, but since I'm home this weekend I got to listen to this one. Pretty good job! Keep practicing, and learn a few more.
Love,
